Time For Tulips

It is once again time for the tulips to swing us on into spring time.

Obviously the bugs are happy to see them also.

First rose of the season…

Abi and Charlie say, “Happy weekend in the garden, everyone!”

  1. I have tulips and the beginnings of roses in my garden too, Brenda. Happy spring!

  2. Love the flowers sooooo pretty and I am sooooo jealous!!!

  3. Simply beautiful Brenda! Spring has definitely sprung in your garden! Have a great weekend!

  4. Brenda, your pictures are some of the best I have ever seen! I could almost smell that rose! Everything looks beautiful! Happy Spring!

  5. The growing season is from middle of June till end of September,no more no less.
I wish it would warm up faster and stay warm longer.
Sometimes our summers are really hot and humid ,but most summers are rainy with very few nice weekends for people to enjoy. This is the north so you have a gazillion cottages all around the lakes everywhere, so when the summer sucks its really sad to have a long winter, which was our story this year.
Plus our summers are bug infested ,black flies and moskitos huge things that can eat a cow in one sitting(kidding.. well almost)
Everyone is groaning….. and can’t wait for summer and shed 5 layers of clothing….You have to be a northerner to understand I suppose…
When we see sun its like a gift from heaven !!

  6. WELL it looks like spring has sprung for you! Flowers in bloom and bugs too! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Love your beautiful photos of the dogs too! πŸ™‚

  7. Your flowers are the PRETTIEST…..

  8. Happy Spring, Brenda!

    I love the pups!!

  9. Can’t believe your tulips are blooming; mine are the same size as when I transplanted them! Damnittohellbob! I love the way your pots are lined up so neatly on the bench.

  10. Happy weekend to you too Abi and Charlie. You all have fun helping your mommy in the garden-smelling the roses and adoring the tulips.

  11. I’m not in the garden yet but its always time for tulips! Happy Spring, Brenda!

  12. Wow…your tulips (and flowers) are looking gorgeous. It’s too bad I won’t get to see all my hard work here go into full bloom once more. (sigh) Oh well, I will just keep coming to your blog and enjoying the beautiful garden there!!! πŸ™‚

And…I can snuggle Abi and Charlie! Cute! Cute!

    Love you!

  13. Abi and Charlie have a great place to play in. I have friends in east Texas on vacation right now, and your blog is showing me the sights they are being treated to. Thanks for a great post.

  14. Brenda,
your garden is beautiful…so peaceful and inviting.
